The women’s associations include Ekpa-Atu, which maintains social order and upholds women’s principal laws, and whose members perform a secret dance at night; Njom-Ekpa, a graded secret association with a sculpted headdress carried by a female dancer; Egbobha, which owns a similar sculpted headdress popular in areas bordering towns. Artist Statement: The artist seeks to explain from his perspective, what corruption meant to him, that a little child had a sleepless night, because his parents could not afford a meal, a young school boy was driven out of school and was forced to hawk on the street and in turn became an armed robber because of corruption, a father that could not secure a job and even after securing a small job is not paid, even at his old age his pension is not paid....Corruption.... My Gran mother died as a result of fake drugs....but you can see their hands are growing longer everyday, and just less than 1% of the world population are into this, cutting like a sharp knife across the world, and we're told that there are agencies that will wipe out corruption...agencies that look like cobwebs....your thoughts is as good as mine....

What does it mean? it's as though God is dead .to the friends of jesus , including the women watching helplessly as he dies on the cross, this is the death of all their hopes. the place is called The Skull - and the darkness in the sky seems to reflect the darkness in the minds of torturers, politicians, soldiers. We see that human beings,though made in the image of god , can deny God and destory each other .
